Like many hosts, I relied almost entirely on Airbnb and other OTAs. But growing my portfolio revealed the cracks: unfair reviews, hours on the phone with no resolution, lost visibility, no direct guest connection, and fees cutting into my revenue.
I realized I was building someone else’s platform, not my own business.
